The two prime suspects in the murder of Christopher de Ronde,
Christopher Hayes and
Michael Funches, are now in custody. The City Pages blog has perhaps the best account of what transpired that day, along with some interesting allegations in the comment section. A commenter by the name of Kristine claimed that Hayes and Funches, although Hayes was found not guilty and it's not clear if Funches was charged or tried,
murdered her fiance Avery Cannady.
(This shooting occurred in 2006, and although both the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune reported on it, the links to those stories are no longer live links. Any readers with more information on Cannady and Hayes' and Funches' connection to that murder are encouraged to share in the comment section.)
Both Hayes and Funches have their own list of convictions as well. While not as long of a list as someone like

WTF!!!! I see from the records you posted that the fines and court costs for burglary amount to less than what you get fined for a parking ticket. Granted, he probably had to spend a little time in jail or the workhouse, but still, a BURGLARY fine costs less than my parking ticket!
ReplyDeleteAs long as these fine upstanding citizens keep eliminating each other without taking the innocent people with them everything will be copasetic.Now how about the issue of the Star and Tribune editing or not telling the whole story about these assholes because they are afraid of offending their respective communities? People, i swear to whomever you are putting your chips on,that you have not gotten the true or complete stories from this publication when shit like this happens. We deserve the truth and i will start publishing the harsh realities on the backrounds of these disgusting, worthless and stinking fucks and i might finally have to get in contact with you or JNS through alternative means because we aint getting the whole story from the asshole powers that be at that so called newspaper.It is time for shit to hit the fan and quit pandering to these societal rejects because you might offend a bunch of folks that have thin skin and swim in the liquidity of honey-dew juice.I am SICK of being held hostage by this element of lying neanderthals and its time we called the Tribune on the carpet and demand the whole truth.I might have to show up at one of these events and familiarize myself because i might have held back and observed long enough.You guys need more help from different sources,sources like myself and i have to shit or get off the toilet.Good Day.
